“Crafts of Bangladesh” is an interactive illustrated map commissioned by @brac.aarong for Aarong’s ecommerce site, that lets a consumer discover where many of their product categories originate from. Working with Aarong has been an extremely rewarding experience since DhakaYeah has always tried to work on projects that tell the tale of the land and it’s people in a unique way. Aarong has played a very crucial role in protecting and promoting traditional crafts of Bangladesh from the very beginning. The institution’s mission is to provide sustainable livelihoods for poor rural communities of Bangladesh, especially women with a consistent focus on creating products that can proudly represent the ancient local crafts of the land to an international audience. Staying faithful to its original mission for more than four decades, Aarong supports the lives and livelihoods of some sixty-five thousand rural artisans and handicraft producers. #bangladesh #dhaka #dhakayeah #aarong (at Bangladesh) https://www.instagram.com/p/CSzQDLgFhNj/?utm_medium=tumblr
