Since Nathaniel had never quite lived long enough to ever really experience anything besides WW2, Jimmy was his go-to ghost dad whenever he had any questions regarding everything else. “I said the sixties because you had the Beatles rocking the world. Man, if I had lived through the sixties, you could’ve bet your top dollar I’d be rocking a haircut like theirs.”

Hey, everyone ! So starting tomorrow at noon (EST) all current threads will either cease or be put on hold ! I’m not putting a limit as to what creature / monster / supernatural being you want to make your character so go crazy, kids. Just remember there is still no godmodding. Even if nothing during this week will become canon after next Monday, just remember you still have to ask muns if you can kill or hurt their characters in any way. Please tag everything dhq.au ! I want this week to be fun for us so if it goes well and people don’t complain then we can do it again !

Just to give a recap as to what the AU week is about: Everyone will be able to be supernatural beings or human hunters. Vampire, werewolves, ghosts, sirens, and any other freaky being you can thing of are living peacefully in the safe haven of Levins. However, hunters threaten their sanctuary.

NOTE: If you have a dead character you’re allowed to bring them back as a ghost !

“Do you think you’d forgive your parents if they left you as a child?” Harold asked as he phased through the wall, absentmindedly pushing aside a few potion bottles on his way in. He didn’t turn to look at Emily as he spoke and instead seemed more content with simply staring at the wall in front of him. As usual, he didn’t seem all there; his body dissolved where the light hit it. He opened his mouth as if to ask another question but he only let out a soft sigh before knocking an empty potion bottle off the counter.

Harold appeared beside Gamila, his figure blurry and scattered like he didn’t have the energy to pull his image together. “You must have killed someone, champ. You’ve lived long enough to make a mistake.” He stated, mindlessly messing with the leaves in the courtyard. He turned to look at her as the smell of gunpowder wafted from him.

Although you were 100% dead, being a ghost had many benefits. One, you could literally go anywhere you wanted, whenever you wanted because the laws of the world had no effect on you. Secondly, you didn’t have to eat or sleep so there were no physical restraints you had to abide by. Thirdly, you could annoy cute witches by suddenly popping your head out of their cauldrons while they were hard at work, which Nathaniel was taking full advantage of as he appeared, grinning, in the middle of Anna’s huge mixing pot. Glancing around, Nathaniel ever so casually asked: “So are you doing something right now?”.

Dylan wanted to prove herself to the hunters, since she was so small they thought of her as a hunter that wouldn’t amount to much. Little did they know how quiet she was because of her size. She was hiding out in the forest, waiting to catch some sort of monster.

She remembered the first time she had made the change from her human form to that of her wolf form, and although it had scared her she had learned to love it. She felt so in tune with the world around her and had discovered things about herself that she would have never have known otherwise. Even though she loved this part of herself so much, she knew she had to hide it from the world, she wanted to be able to love this part of herself without the world making her feel bad for who she was.

As she stepped out from behind the tree she made sure to look around to make sure no one was watching her before she allowed herself to morph back into her human form. She realized then that she must not have looked well enough when she heard the sound of someone making their way in her direction.
