Hear me out. Dishonored spin-off or AU or whatever of a Dunwall overseer who’s investigating High Overseer Campbell for heresy (like those two overseers in dh1) but he gets caught and they (Campbell and his allies) choose to make an example out of him by branding him.
So he’s been ✨dishonored✨ and has been kicked out into the street as per the rules, but he’s not going down without a fight. He gets his brand removed by an amateur surgeon at the academy (or at least modified to not be recognisable anymore) and he sets out for revenge.
I don’t personally think he’s a sneaky assassin I think he just starts blasting.
