here's the difference:

you get "viscerally angry" over a woman insulting your beloved Freud

I get viscerally angry trying to prove I am worthy as a human being in a society that denies me that privilege and the men who continue to "appreciate" theorists who didn't believe woman were even full humans and whose ideology had a direct impact on the women's emancipation movement and countless individual women suffering as a result of his influence

you can appreciate their relevant theories and contributions but that's where the line should be drawn. The fact you're trying to defend him against other women is actually extremely telling and how you guys don't even see that is a perfect example.
