🧑⚕️ Lay the receiver on an operating table under harsh light. (Because as an owner of a character who's a surgeon, I feel I must deliver with this... tehe)
Magnus was under the surgical table. Nervousness filled him. Something about it felt horribly familiar to him. Flashes of him laying on an alter to be cut and tortured. It made his breathing hitch slightly.
"This won't hurt will it?" He looked for any sign of something that would indicate he'd be hurt. He was gripping the sides of the table so tight his red knuckles turned white from the pressure. He trusted Barton. So much so they're together as a damn couple. But getting him to lay on the table alone was a feat he never thought he'd agree to.
He was clearly terrified. But at the same time wanting to make Barton happy he tried to keep it together. Shutting his eyes tightly. So he needn't see what was to happen. He only told him to lay there. For now of course. What was he planning on doing? He didn't know. He just hoped he didn't fall in love with someone who happened to wind up hurting him in the end. He trusted Barton..
The light was bright in his eyes. His horns clanked against the metal. He was stripped down to his boxers with his chest exposed. And he had yet to show him his true scars. Perhaps now? No..he couldn't know..
