Beat Diabetes Walk 2018
I was fortunate enough to be a part of the 10th annual beat diabetes walk on 23rd of November. Along with over 18,000 other participants, I walked 3KM to spread awareness about diabetes. The event held by Landmark Group has raised over $1 million from 2009 for diabetes research and care, Landmark Group has engaged over 700 schools and cooperatives for this cause. I felt immense pride during the walk, the fact that I was able to provide even a little towards the beat diabetes initiative is truly gratifying. I hope to join the walk again next year!
