Sakamaki's bros with a reader that does everything in their power to NOT spend time with them😭 it's like that one dog meme where the person is reaching their hand out and the dog keeps backing up. Except reader is the dog and the hand is one of the sakamaki brothers.

I'm talking like reader hides out in the forest, hides in dusty old rooms, hides in kitchen cabinets where they can fit. ANYWHERE to avoid the sakamaki bro. Possibly even hang around another brother the sakamaki bro doesn't like just so the two can argue and reader can sneak off.

Honestly , this is a good request anon! Say if they’re used to only receiving church girls , what about someone who’s more aware and clearly doesn’t want to spend any time with them? Normally I’d say it would end badly , but for the sake of devils advocate let’s say the fmc here is the yui equivalent!!

Takes him a good long while to fully notice ( because he is just so incredibly lazy)

Honestly prefers less clingy women ( or at least that’s what he tells himself)

Big part of it would be that now he has to seek you out for a drink , but in his head he’s not used to such a bother , therefore he phrases you as a disturbance ( despite you clearly not being a disturbance)

Shu likes warmth , and new things , so you confuse him

Expect to find him just sleeping in your room so he can save himself time

The thing is about reiji , he’ll do something , but boy does he complain

But now he’s bumped into someone who doesn’t complain ?? Even when he reprimands them . Consider this a challenge .

Hurts his inferiority complex, as why is he being rage baited by a foolish mortal?

In an excuse to “ keep an eye on you “ Reiji would keep you busy by setting weird , random tasks , because “ since you seem to have so much free time , why not put it to use ?”

He becomes more appreciative of your accounts and if he’s in a particularly good mood then I guess he’ll make you a cup of tea ( really begrudgingly)

Laito

He’s used to following people around because he’s just a walking fucking disturbance really I mean look at him

The worst thing you could probably do though is ignore the motherfucker since all he wants he reactions he feeds of reactions

Imagine he’s got you trapped beneath him and you lightly tap his arms and fully roll of under him and stand up and walk off

He’d be so confused , in his head basically everyone ( especially foolish girls) want him

If laito gets confused he becomes a professional PI so expect EVERYTHING from you past to be dug up

He’d try sneak in little remarks which you just ignore or shrug off or occasionally smile at

Two ways it could go from here would be either , he gets bored ( death ) , or he gets curious (x10 in laito harassment)

Sakamaki boys respond to a perfectionist?

Reiji

Finds it endearing at first , to go to such lengths to achieve perfection is something he really admires in a partner

Until it goes to far , you get a report card back with a missed question , and before he knows it you are skipping meals and locking yourself away to study . Almost as if you are punishing yourself .

Simply put he lets you throw your fit for approximately 3 days before interfering. After all he should be the only one punishing you .

Reiji would act aloof ( because he’d usually rather die then show inferior affection) , he would ask if perhaps you would enjoy a study session.

He’d quietly slip in food with these study sessions - nursing you back to your normal self without even realising it.

Not to mention keeping a closer eye on you has its perks , for example spending more time together

He would well and truly understand where you are coming from and not rush you , not treating you as delicate but rather as something he connects with.

Ayato

Sees the change in you almost instantly

The perfection that he was forced into with his psyche always questioning if what he was doing was good enough and scared of the severe consequences that Cordelia would dish out if he wasn’t first place , it makes him curious

It’s like a mirror effect that he doesn’t understand, the more stressed you get , the more stressed he gets in return

The strange paradoxical phenomenon makes his stomache jittery … “ is this what it feels like to be worried for someone…?”

Laitos nervousness makes him clingy as if leaving you alone troubles him , so he sticks to you like glue.

Harassing you takes both of your minds off things , he’d take you out too to change the scenery eventually trying to ease you into a pattern to make you feel safer ( in his own weird way)

Subaru

Out of all the diaboys Subaru is the most experienced in handling outbreaks of behaviour

During one of your episodes ( let’s say ) Subaru didn’t like that you were isolating yourself from him , infact it threw him off.

Seeing you perplexed and muttering to yourself about gods knows what , as if you were in a trance - really scared him. Subaru himself self deprecates - to see someone as usually composed and easily perfect as you question your self worth… then where did that put him?!!?

He knows the best way to deal with things for others is to simply stay consistent, to show that he cares for you . Giving compliments ect.

One of his love languages is gift giving , for example if you were struggling with a homework assignment he’d perhaps pick up some sweets to cheer you up .ect

His other love language is sharing his sacred coffin , but just for you he’d let you in together cradling you asleep.

a series?

recently ive been into a lot of rebirth/transmigration stories which has inspired me to make my own, but on top of my own story i was thinking of what would happen if a regular American person who like anime and manga happened to fall into one of the worlds the watched or read about?
