On Lies ;;

It’s no surprise that Masador has had to lie, a lot he does have double life in the human world, where he has a Tech company and is in constant business with others, because of this he’s had to lie, about his name, his origins, his disabilities, scars, everything, even some cultural things so he does not bother his business partners. 

In that regard, he is good at lying, he studies constantly to know how to confront certain topics, and he’s had to do this for lord knows how long (in demon years of course, he’s been walking human world for a very long time). 

For other things however, he’s not that good at lying, his voice may be flat, but his body language oftentimes betrays him, there’s signs here and there that he’s doing or hiding something, and one of his siblings has learned each and every single one of them.

Fortunately though he’s not one to lie, at best conceal truths or clearly state some things he can’t really discuss about.

A clear sign that he’s lying is actually that he may look at the other person in the eyes (despite him hating doing that) to state his lie, something he’s learned to do with humans for more trust has backfired for those that know him in a more natural state, Sana finds it amusing whenever he lies, because it’s usually on insignificant things, she calls him out on it, and he immediately gets embarrassed.

Masador genuinely doesn’t like to lie, but it’s something he’s had to do for so many years now, at times it’s just a habit to talk as if he was assuming his human persona.

Eyes, glances, stares ;;

Masador, like the other devils, is known to have a piercing glare, as a Devil he’s been forged from duty and hardship, but after Iuerus, he seems to have the most intimidating of gazes, sharp eyes with slit pupils that will not stop making eye contact if he’s talking to you.

But there are some other things about his eyes, how he looks at people, etc, for one, it’s important to consider that Masador has sensitive eyes, which is the main reason for him wearing sunglasses, especially after he’s transformed into his Zesic Ulri, part of his glare comes from him having to squint due to his sensitive eyes.

Another fun part of his eyes is the slit pupils, it’s not truly common to see them widen, but just like a cat’s they can and will increase in size greatly in the right situations.

Masador tries to always make eye contact if he’s talking to people, this is mainly due to him lip-reading, while he can sort of hear others when they talk at a normal volume, he still prefers to complement that with reading people’s lips, anytime people slur their words or don’t open their mouths much he’s a bit more frustrated and can be seen squinting more than usual. 

Funnily enough however, in the case he’s not actively talking to someone, he will not look at them, maybe a glance here and there but he does not make eye contact if he’s not being spoken to, he doesn’t really enjoy it, if he’s the one speaking, he may look at the other in case they insert comments here and there, but most of the time he lifts his head and does not glancee, fortunately his sunglasses help mask it a little bit.

Like most other Devils and Demons, his eyes have a faint glow, more easily noticed if he’s using his skills, this glow goes away and fully dims out after he uses his Zesic Ulri.

Essentially, he has an intimidating stare, not only due to who he is, or his size, but because of his permanent squint that makes him look like he’s glaring the entire time.
