This day six years ago, August 4th 2009 I my life was permanently changed. I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes. As an eight and a half year old I was completely terrified of what was going to happen. Three days in the hospital and I was sent back home to spend the rest of my life dealing with the chronic disease. I have learned many things since then, made best friends with other diabetics; gone on shots and then switched to the pump many times and vice versa. I have learned responsibility, how to take care of myself and but it's given me plenty of opportunities I wouldn't have been apart of. Although having T1 is a struggle at times, insulin shots, 3am blood sugar checks and eating a great amount of glucose tabs and juice, it will all be okay. •Teen wolf S3EP24- The Divine Move• "It's a bit of a technical way of saying things will always even out." "Like things will always get better?" "More like things can't always be bad." "So, no matter how bad things get" "...Or how good." "They always come back to the middle. Regression to the mean." (This quote doesn't belong to me, all credit goes to those wrote/created teen wolf and this quote, but I believe it kinda explained how everything will always be okay) -Becca
