Dialer2 is now open-sourced under the Apache 2.0 license. Please use the code as you wish, but it would gladden me if you wouldn't fork development, but instead send me your patches so that I can incorporate them into the market version.

Thinking of open-sourcing Dialer2
As you may have noticed I haven't had much time to update Dialer2 recently. But rather than letting the project die, I'm thinking of open-sourcing it. If anyone is interested in the codebase, please contact me and we'll discuss.

Sorry for the long delay between updates, but finally Dialer2 2.70 is released. It brings call log refreshing, a workaround for a bug in Google Voice and some small bugfixes.
For all of you that have commented and asked for other things, don't think I've forgotten about you, more updates are coming.
Dialer2 2.60 released
Number search is back by popular demand. Reworked call log and some new graphics.
Dialer2 2.50 released
Huge speed improvements, especially on older phones. Also added a lot smarter search options, now it's possible to find the contact you want to call in a lot fewer key presses.
Dialer2 2.11 released
Sorry for updating twice on the same day, but needed to fix a force close on some specific phone configurations.
