Blood Diamonds, or rather, the producer formerly known as Blood Diamonds, seems to love changing his name nearly as much as Prince once did. The latest moniker he’s chosen to adopt is DiamondDahi, which replaces prior name bloodpop. As DiamondDahi, he’s dropped a droopy electro hip hop track named N.M.B.D., which features hotly buzzing and much talented British hip hop artist Little Simz on guest vocals. One of my favorite tracks from Blood Diamonds is still Phone Sex, featuring Grimes. N.M.B.D. carries hints of that syrupy track, but permeated with Little Simz’ intense machine gun emceeing. The end result sounds a bit Rihanna like yet so fresh and new. Download the track for free on Soundcloud.
