Lukaz knew that, despite his high status in the Eddisian court, that his presence was to be requested, not imposed upon, so he thusly stayed away from the royal residence if he could control it. But it just so happened that sometimes he needed to gather materials for his spells that could only be found there. He usually didn’t see ether the king or the queen on these brief trips inside those walls, much less when he passed the couple’s bedchambers—
That’s when his eyes meet with Ayaan’s, quite an accident on his part. May as well be gracious and greet his queen face-to-face.
