A few days ago I designed a logo of an owl, and was ready to rebrand diamondtonedesign into Nightowl Graphics - but... I researched and there were already several companies under the name 'Nightowl'. So, as a result of that, I didn't want the logo I created to go to waste, so I made a few companion owls for the first owl, and created this sweet design,

Sleeping Giant - 80′s desert style

Nothing like a few variants for one design, right? Here’s the silhouette I made of the Sleeping Giant for the Northern Lights Concert Experience, reused to make a totally rad piece. There’s three variants here: the original, with text and with lens flare. I don’t have one with text and flare combined because I thought it’d be too much.

80′s Style Wallpaper

James White, (AKA SignalNoise) is a major inspiration for me. After seeing him close for FITC Toronto 2015, I have looked back on his art with “Wow, I should’ve gotten a print”... Just today I pulled open my folder for inspirations and found the 2015 Reel for FITC. Got me thinking into working with the 80′s Style myself, so I pulled up a tutorial from YouTube and started this afternoon on my own Wallpaper. 

I’ll be making more of these though! This was a lot of fun to create. The first one in this set is free to use, while the second one is my personal version with my logo :)
