DOING THE DISHES AFTER DINNER. Domestic bliss. It may be one o'clock in the morning, but a warming meal with good company after a grueling shift is what it is: good, and hard-earned by the two women.
Somehow, Juniper has managed to avoid the number one topic on her mind for the entirety of her evening with Diane. Finally, overcome by the exhaustion of living in her own head, she relents. She accepts a plate from Diane to dry with a cloth, but she pauses before doing any actual work.
