Idle Dialogue: “Ruran spoke of you and of your pact, is it— no, I suppose this is not the place to discuss.”

Witnessing D’arca KO: “Twelve…”

Reviving D’arca: “I have you, you’ll be just fine”

Finishing Dungeon: “Always a pleasure to work with one of Ruran’s friends. Do join us for tea some time?”

While Ellere does not know D’arca all that well, she does know he is a close friend of Ruran’s and that is enough for her to pay extra attention to his care. Experience as a doctor and working as a healer in various companies makes her a rather trustworthy person to have on the team. Because she does not understand the connection he shares with Ruran, she would also be sure he does not leave with any lasting damage.

Cape Westwind - What is the setting of the battle? Where will it take place?

First phase is set deep in the mountains that act as a border between Coerthas and the Northern Shroud. It is sacred land, hallowed by ancient scorch marks that create an intricate ritual circle in the earth. This high up, the trees are frosted with white, and the bitter wind blows in a gale through the pine boughs.

Second phase remains the same, only the stage is set ablaze and acquires a ring of fire that acts the same as Ifrit, Twintannia, etc.

Third phase is where the setting shifts. The woods and snow and reeds fall away to a crystalline plane, decorated in arcane glyphs and runes. Stars glitter against an ink-black curtain and large, kaleidoscopic geodes buoy around the perimeter. Below the platform, a churning abyss that flashes vibrant tinctures of violet and sapphire. It’s easy to assume the party’s been transported elsewhere into the Aetherial Sea.

Do you have a strong moral code? What are some moral things that you feel strongly about?

Though Upa teeters on the neutral section of the spectrum, motivated mostly by the woes and hurts of those close to her, she does have a strong moral compass. She will not maim or wound unless rightly provoked, and only a small number have fallen by her hand, which weighs heavily on her. The girl has a big heart and will often go out of her way to help those in need, even going as far as intervening in disputes and back alley scraps if she happens upon them.

What is the most recognizable thing about you? What are people most likely to notice about you when they first meet you?

Upa would be a flustered mess at these questions, lmao. She has a very deep-rooted self esteem issue that often leads her to shooing away such things with a wave of her hand. However, it seems to be her kindness that sticks with people the most. The way her eyes light up when she smiles, the genuine care she has for a complete stranger, as if she’s known them all her life. She’s soft, warm, and brighter than the sun, and often a source of comfort people don’t realize they need until they meet her.

Still, would she elect for something like this? “Absolutely.” She nods without hesitation. “Perhaps I would be a different person then, but power gives you the ability to carve your own place in the world and to have it respected.”

16. Does your character feel like they have a purpose in life? If so, what?This actually is very difficult for Emri. She doesn’t have a driving purpose in life. Possibly, to do better by her sibling than she has in the past, but that doesn’t drive her. She’s been filling her days with exploring in isolation, but even that doesn’t drive her. It’s simply something she finds interesting that pays the bills and keeps idiots away from her.

25. In general. how curious is your character?

D’arca wouldn’t ever believe it, probably, but she is very inquisitive. She just doesn’t care about boring science and history like he does. But finding out what is around the next corner, figuring out the tricks and traps of whatever old crypt the two of them have found themselves in, and finding ways to make her better at what she does are all things she find interest in and will wander into danger for it. Equally, there are many aspects of her violent and light-fingered past that were initiated for the sake of curiosity.

34. If they could go back in time, would your character change anything in their past? If so, What?She would got and deck her younger self in the face for ever even helping Dhatura with anything, let alone staying at his side for seven years. She lists him as her biggest mistake and the reason that most evil things have happened to her.
