Tanner Fairclough was born as a refugee in Ul'dah, and quickly took to petty crime and less-than-legal means of surviving after his mother had died and his father left. Proving himself to a lower level member of the Syndicate, he quickly rose from a filthy urchin to one of the most ruthless Somnus smugglers in the Syndicate member's employ. However, when the man stiffed him for pay, he quickly found new employment. While he still ran under the Syndicate, the new job allowed for more freedom in his endeavors, and he often was a purveyor of much more than simple drug paraphernalia. Weapons, Goods, it mattered not what he traded in, only that it brought him Gil.

Well, the whole exchange was:

Me: Hey, bro, is there like … FF14 marriage markets? Cause it would be like weird, cause we're siblings. My brother, without a beat: it's about the gear isn't it (1).

My name is Mai and I figured if I was going to get married for the gear, I’d aught to have some fun! I’d RPed before, so some experience but not with FFRP specifically.

TL;DR: POC/Black, She/They, Queer/Poly Allowed, Smut/NSFW (No non-con.) Semi-literate to literate (2). Mostly like Freeform-ish (3).

My lead player character, who I’m starting to develop into an OC is a Rava Viera. I’m say starting because the closest I’ve gotten is “giving a valley girl a knife” (think the Elle Woods’ “so it’s like hard” but is still clearly a “weird girl”) (4).

Some other general notes that might sway or slay:

I don't have any mods right now, so I know my character will look rather dusty. (I'm playing on PS4 for now.)

I personally am non-binary but like experimenting with womanhood/queer gender performances - which might matter.

I'm fine with writing Smut/NSFW between characters, and personally think of it like a charter-building exercise/a chess game where I really have to focus.

Polyamory is fine - but I do need to know.

This totally isn't necessary, but I think it would be fun if there was extra crafting going on. I, personally, could write one-shots for sure, but other things like letter-sharing, drawing, or something else seemed fun to trade! (AGAIN! TOTALLY not necessary lol.)

I specify semi-/literate because until I know the character, I might want to leave more space for your OC to respond.

I don't mind cursing and fights (this is a game where you fight), but I have some hard nos (racism, non-con) and reserve the right to make a new boundary I missed.

It's either that or the driest, saltiest nior protagonist - a short, anti-authoritarian, scrappy survivor. (Yes, she has big feelings on the inside, that is a part of noirs.)
