The justice system failed you sister. My heart aches for her and members of her family. I am angry. I am frustrated that her murderer's will not be charged for her death. Instead one has been charged for endagering the lives of her neighbors. Are you kidding me. Her life was in danger when they entered her home, the wrong home with a no knock order. How many more will this happen to? Who is next? Is it me? Is it you? The outcome would be the same. No justice. How do you pick up the pieces of your life when justice has not been served? How do you move forward when they show us everyday that our lives do not matter. Although justice was not served yesterday, we have to lean to live with a verdict that hurts.
