Elaborating on this because I feel like it.
Silver being really upset with his burnt cookies and promising to improve his skills and do better. Lilia of course insists that they’re delicious and he loves them anyways but he also says he likes his own cooking and Silver knows all too well how amazing that tastes…
Whenever he tries to make cookies, he just starts falling asleep or using the wrong ingredients. This is just one way Lilia sabotages the kitchen even when he’s not the one making food. He doesn’t actually label his ingredients properly and only he can understand what’s what. He probably has a cabinet of spices that just say “stinky” and “bitter” or some shit. One day when Sebek come to train he brings cookies that his mom insisted on sharing with Silver. And Silver is like oh my god wait these are amazing your mom made these? (Also, the first time Silver had Mrs. Zigvolts cooking he spaced out for like 10 minutes from the shock of how good it was compared to Lilia’s abominations. He didn’t think it was real food at first.)
And then when Lilia’s birthday comes around Silver visits the Zigvolts and asks for help to make some cookies because he promised his father he would make edible cookies this year…Mrs. Zigvolt thinks he’s so adorable (as she should) and thinks about how lucky Lilia is to have such a precious son who cares about him so much…
She gets the Zigvolt siblings to help too and they all decorate the cookies together with little bats ! (Zigvolt family cooking nights are so real to me)
Lilia is absolutely delighted when both Silver and Sebek present him with their cookies the next day. And then he puts them in tomato sauce or something like the little freak he is.
