what’s up i just came home from looking after my nephew for most of the day and currently i’m filling in personality, ideals etc. for my druid for our curse of strahd campaign and i love her so much already i’m so excited to play her aldsjfaldsjf
we were talking in the dnd groupchat about potentially starting another short campaign and I joked about playing a druid that just fucks off in bat form when things get dicey but jokes on me cuz now i'm thinking about a half-orc druid who comes from a loving, functional family and community somewhere in the woods and who's a soft boi who just wants 2 go home
we found a baby unicorn today !!! like this dude stole something from the lady of the spring court and she tasked us with finding it, but she was charmed and couldn't remember what it was that he had stolen so we kinda went in blind and we all expected it to be like?? a magical item??? some kind of artifact??? but nO THIS FUCKER STOLE A TINY NEWBORN UNICORN. WE WERE RIOTING WHEN OUR DESIGNATED TEAM SNEAK FOUND THE LIL GUY AFTER SNEAKING AROUND HIS MANSION (especially since we somehow always come back to talking about unicorns and unicorn warlocks in the group chat so that was an absolutely amazing plot twist on our dm’s part and we all loved it!!! <3)
i finally made up my mind regarding my character for the curse of strahd game my group is planning and i just finished typing up the backstory adfajdf
half-elf druid who has a drow mama and a human papa who are happily in love and living peacefully in the woods after going thru some shit. she also has a sister who is the reason why she left her village in the first place cuz she was actually super content there.... like i don’t even know how any of this is going to fit into the story but i already love her and her fam :’)
Bought a cute notebook today so I’m currently in the process of putting all my scattered DnD notes into one place, which is an incredibly relaxing task 👌🏼

tbh i wanna talk about felicitas but we haven't actually shared our character backstories among players beforehand and so far feli hasn't exactly been eager to say much about her past in-game cuz she's just generally guarded when it comes to the more personal things around people she doesn’t know that well (yet) and we’re almost all following each other on tumblr so i feel like everything i say could be too much asdaldf.... the struggle is real
