So I was looking up a list of December holidays for Deltarune purposes. And apparently us Pippins lovers have our own holiday that I never knew about?!
December 4th is National Dice Day! (Let's make it international, all Pippins lovers need to celebrate this)
Get your board games out as we celebrate one of the planet’s oldest gaming tools — dice!
Enjoy some dice facts and history! Stick some fuzzy dice in your mirror to celebrate! And share this with your fellow Pippins lovers! Let's have a Pippins Party!
My IT dice set just came and wow! They're so pretty, I love all the little details on the different faces of the dice. They rolled well too! Got a 19 right off the bat! 🎈
HAPPY NATIONAL DICE DAY!!!
Each year on December 4th, people across the United States observe National Dice Day. Many games incorporate dice as a way to add random challenges or obstacles to the objectives.
Here we are once more with a new entry of the Winter Challenge 2018! For today, we don’t have two, we don’t have three, but we have four new themes. You can choose from:
• World Wildlife Conservation Day, a good reminder to preserve wildlife and to give support to people who fight everyday to protect the fauna from all over the world. Even Pokémon Rangers are going to be very busy in this day.
• Wear Brown Shoes Day, because Wynaut?
• Dice Day, the favorite day for fans who love to play board games or to try their luck.
• Cookie Day, an excellent excuse to eat those chocolate chip cookies. Be careful with the extra calories, though!
You are certainly spoiled for choice, so bring forth your skills!
Noooope. Only made it five dice in this time before it locked up. Hopefully my next ring size change will work and not go overboard.
My first tweak was to shrink the wire gauge of the internal japanese connectors.
Now I'll go back to the original gauge with a larger ID. That 1/32" difference might be too dramatic when multiplied by... 90 rings.
Happy Dice Day all! Thought I'd celebrate by posting my drawing of Tenna's Pippins disguise "Annet" from my Turnabout Is Fair Play AU!
I have the physical drawings that I made before I went over them digitally, but my scanner's not working properly, so I'll probably have to upload those later
Here she is!
When they're in disguise, Tenna mostly just looks like a normal Pippins, but some of his usual showman's flair is added here and there
Annet has big eyelashes, since Tenna's never had eyes before and he likes the way they look
Their poncho is the same red as Tenna's suit, not the standard Pippins red. They wanted to add a gold tie to match their normal one, but they felt like that would be too obvious. Plus, the last time he caught a Pippins trying to "imitate" him (after Spamton left) with the red & gold, he threw a massive fit. None of them wore gold ties after that
The boots are shaped identical to standard Pippins boots, but the lifts have the gold color from his normal shoes on them. Opposite color scheme of his normal shoes
Tenna couldn't resist embroidering some little stars on to her poncho. They figure it's just enough to stand out, but still subtle enough to blend in
She heard the other Pippins calling her stars "inclusions", so she'll stick with that
Under the poncho the shirt is a standard Pippins one, but they swapped the regular buttons out for gold ones
The one final touch that they added was their TV Time tie clip. It felt wrong for them to not be wearing the logo somewhere. Might get teased by the other Pippins for it
The one thing Tenna can't shapeshift away in his disguise is his tail. So as Annet, the plug end gets covered up by a star decoration.
However, even with this added protection, they like to keep it tucked away where no one can see it. They're very careful about that
I have my own headcanons about Pippins having or not having tails, but I'll save that for another post
That's all for this one! Happy Dice Day everyone!
