Justice: A decision they wish they could do over

Minato rethinks every decision going into and during a battle whenever someone gets hurt. He always wants to know if he could have been faster, if he should’ve been stronger, if there was something he could’ve done better…

But the worst was Shinjiro and Ken. He can’t shake the guilt related to that incident, that he should have known better, should have insisted someone went after them, should’ve at least defeated the Shadows more quickly so that they didn’t get there just moments too late…

But he always knew there was nothing he could do. He resolved instead to make sure that he never made mistakes like that again and to remember that the reason he was fighting now was because of all the friends he’d come to care about, and he shouldn’t forget them to focus on that fight.

Unfortunately, most of the Medic’s favorite ways to spend a day ‘alone’ involve a patient, and thus can’t exactly be considered such. Spending a day with his doves and/or preparing new uses for already obtained body parts might qualify, though!

The hanged man

Certa has long since forgotten nearly all of her time before she became a Cuniculator, and during her time working for Contractus Incorporated she didn’t so much wish someone would listen to her so much as she wished there was someone she could safely vent her resentment towards. Deep down she knew there was nobody that fit that description.

Once the rebellion truly kicked off, however, there were a number of times she wished other factions of Absinthium would listen to her claims of being a rebel faction, rather than looking at the Cuniculators among her forces and immediately associating them with Contractus Incorporated.
