Mouth of Monocacy by Citizen of the Galaxy Via Flickr: Maryland DOT F9PH No. 7181 powers inbound train 252 over the Monocacy River bridge at Dickerson MD on the morning of 6 August 1986, near the confluence with the Potomac River. The location is reached from Mouth of Monocacy Road. The train is on the former B&O mainline into Washington DC.
Nicknamed “Diamond Calves,” he was the first Black man to win the Mr. America contest. As a gay man, he said, he also felt bigotry over his sexual orientation.
