This is Lewey’s favourite bird. They call out to each other throughout the day, every day. The weird thing is that they usually stay as far away as possible, hidden high up in the trees or just flying by. This one in particular was really nearby and staring into our balcony for a good 15 minutes and calling out non-stop. Perhaps they sense something missing and are trying to see where the little yellow loudspeaker is.
It was a nice thing and made us feel happy in some way to know that perhaps Lewey was also missed by his friends in the sky.
