“Jirard… It’s me… Can we talk?’ Jirard curled up more on the couch, into the couch if possible. He did want to exist. He didn’t want anyone in the world to exist that way he wouldn’t have to make these choices for people. Why did he have to choose. Jirard had gone silent when he heard the rushed footsteps, he knew it was Shane, but Shane he finished speaking that waterworks erupted again. He words were just caught in his throat and tears and choked sobs replaced it. He knew he would feel worse if Shane walked away and he continued to sob. Jirard ripped the blanket off of PBG’s bed and wrapped it around himself. He felt like he was right back in middle school, cocooning himself away from the world. Full.. Body Blanket shield. He trudged toward the door and cracked it open slightly. Enough for Shane to catch a glimpse of a blotchey, tear-stained Jirard. He tried to sound.. tough.. ish “Y-you made your point a-already.” Jirard’s whole weight was on the doorknob and door frame.
