I know that @taylorswift most likely won’t see this but I am sure there are numerous SWIFTIES out there who may relate to this.
Taylor has always been my role model and someone who I look up to and always will be. She is someone who is relatable, kind, intelligent, generous and an inspiration to many. Taylor makes such a large impact in people’s lives especially her fans and gets them through so much. Her music, her lyrics and her voice are just parts of Taylor Swift that make her the amazing human being she is. She respects each and everyone of us and goes out of her way to make sure that SWIFTIES know that they are heard and that she is thankful for each and everyone of us. You will never get another TAYLOR SWIFT so we have to be grateful and appreciate how lucky we are to have someone like her in our lives. I have been a swiftie for 11-12 years now and I will always support everything that she does. Taylor’s music has always been an escape from the real world. Her lyrics take you to another place - a happy place where nothing else matters in that moment. Recently I have been struggling a lot with anxiety and have been having a really hard time at school and this is my final year (Grade 12) so everything counts. When Taylor posted the countdown, within seconds I went from emotional to the happiest person ever. Ever since then, yes she has made me sleep deprived but the excitement and energy of all of the fans across social media put a smile on my face. School started back the week just past and it hasn’t been too great but having @taylorswift in the back of my mind pushed me through it. Yesterday was a really rough day although my friends kept of reminding me of how excited I was for Taylor to release the new single and the countdown to end. Once that countdown ended I planned everything I had to do to make it possible to listen and watch the video in class. I was in math and my teacher needed us to compete our survey and therefore we needed our laptops (fate). I got so excited. I couldn’t act the way I wanted to watching and listening but OH MY WAS I THE HAPPIEST PERSON EVER. Everything that happened that day just went out the window . ME! is a song that really touched me in an amazing way. It made me think and realise that people do LOVE ME and that yes I DO LOVE MYSELF. All I want in life is to be happy and @taylorswift NEVER FAILS TO make me LAUGH, SMILE AND SHE BRING ME SO MUCH JOY. I cannot wait to hear the rest of the ALBUM, go and see her live once again and plan my costume. TAYLOR MEANS THE WORLD TO ME AND SHE WILL ALWAYS MAKE MY HEART FULL.
