Dark alleys seemed to just be his thing now, he supposed. Skulking in the gloomy halls of his home he’d grown used to dim lighting. The street lamps were painful to look at, the bright white light a stark contrast to the dark night that burned his fucking retinas, so it was probably for the best that he stayed out of sight.
That, and also the fact that he was totally going to rob this son of a bitch idiot walking down the street.
As soon as the guy was in prime position, Lucas reached out from the shadows, grabbing him by the back of his neck and dragging him out of view of the street. Holding his grip was easy enough, keeping him turned away as to avoid having his face seen, but just to be sure he wedged the knife between him and the other guys back, pressing in slightly to let him know he was being serious.
“Should I say it or do I have to frisk you? Gimme yer wallet.” Money apparently was something he actually needed to do shit around here, and this was much easier than working a job.
