With the weather progressively getting nicer and nicer as summer approached, Kaden spent more and more time outside on the castle grounds. Hell, it was better than staying in the suite with his neurotic owner Lucien. It wasn't hard finding reasons to get out either –– his horse Tux needed care and riding and his German Shepherd Ares needed regular walks and playtime, the latter of which he was doing now near where a gathering of unclaimed slaves were in the gardens for their hour of daylight.
His eager three year old pup excitedly awaited for the kresnik to throw the ball he waved around in his hand for the hundredth time that hour. Kaden beamed as he hyped the panting Ares up with "you want it? You want it?" before chucking the tennis ball as hard and far as he could. The shepherd bolted after it where it landed near one of the slaves in the garden yet the dog who wasn't very graceful barreled into Seraphiel despite his owner's yelled warning.
"Gosh darn it, Ares," he scolded the dog as he ran over. "I am so sorry about that, he's a smart one but tends to lose some of it when this ball is involved. You alright there?"
