Quitting Sugar Cold Turkey
I am currently on day TWO of quitting (refined) sugars. I’m a multiple pop a day kind of gal, and believe you me.. I am coming down HARD and FAST.
I’ve had zero desire to join tumblr. After my many failed attempts at implied nudity on Instagram I have been told time and time again to join tumblr. But still, I had no interest.
But why now?
Who knows.
I am quitting legal cocaine. Sugar. Yes, not as mind altering as the other white powder, but still just as lethal. And it’s EVERYWHERE. It’s in EVERYTHING. It’s in milk. It’s in ketchup. It is probably laced into the air we breathe, somehow.
Day one was yesterday. It sucked. But not how it sucks today. Yesterday, my body didn’t realize what was happening. It was mostly my mind that was in pain.
But today, day two, my body is in panic mode.
I am straight up going through withdrawal. Sweating. Shaking. Headaches. The whole nine yards.
I guess I’m just journaling to distract myself. And hopefully look for support.
Ugh… day two is almost over. Help. 😔
My Workout Journal Day 6: Cycling
I cycled 30 km today! Foodwise, It was my 'treat' day today but I didn't fancy anything...odd!? It was a good day! We went for lunch and while my bf was savouring/ devouring a beautiful pizza, I kept it clean and had a césar salad, fish and veggies...Oh I had white bread with the salad! Not 100% clean It's so helpful for me to write here ...even if nobody reads...but it makes me accountable...to myself I guess...I've done more towards my health in 6 days than I've done in 10 months (when I started working out). I've been very lenient diet-wise...I'm glad I started this tumblr, just reading other blogw,it gives me the support I can't find around me...My friends & family don't really understand why I want to be "SO" healthy especially considering that I'm not overweight. My friends would tell my " what are you complaining about, you're not even fat! you're alright" ...But I don't want to be "alright" I want to be strong, lean and healthy...All that in order to tell you, if you're reading, thank you for being here! I understand the journey you're on...I'm on the same one!
