Where are cutlets 1.0 BTW?

Oh man this is as good a time as any to say that I have some good and some bad news about them.

So for context Kotelet came into my house with two kittens (and pregnant but that was a surprise for later) who were very wild and on the cusp of the socialisation window. I made some progress with food and then my partner Danny took them in.

Now the bad news, one of them got out. They were very small and very wild and one of them got out trough a vent-thing that Danny didn't realise was accessible. We never found him again. It was quite frustrating to deal with after weeks of working to get them into the house, but in the end we had to take solace in that they were outside before, but now at least he had the foundation of human socialisation, so he has a chance of becoming a pet still. So it's still a net postive even though we of course wished he'd stuck around to see how nice it could have been, because...

The good news:

Danny managed to completely win over this boy, with a frankly criminal amount of candy. These are taken from their lap. It's safe to say he's happy to stay.

I've been wanting to post pictures but everytime I felt a bit sad to adress the other kitten first, but now enough time had passed that I can get it over with, and I have so much more to share.

So for weeks I’ve been putting off catching an neutering Kotelet because I had an inkling she might have a litter and look what she brought along now!!

Goddammit Kotelet you harlot

They’re at a place where I can’t possibly reach them (but so close!) but they’re slowly discovering the territory and they seem at solid food age so it’s a matter of time before she brings them to my roof so I’ll do my very best to catch and socialize them. We need every stray here neutered and adopted where possible and we were getting real close actually before this young lady messed up our statistics!!
