Das ist eine Ansage! Während die Wirtschaft in Deutschland auch in diesem Jahr nicht wirklich zulegen und somit stagnieren dürfte, befindet sich die Digital-Branche auf deutlichem Wachstumskurs. Der Branchenverband Bitkom gab heute sein Statement dazu ab. Demnach solle der digitale Markt um satte 1,5 Prozent und umgerechnet 172,2 Milliarden zunehmen. Allerdings blieben China, Indien und Amerika weiterhin die Vorreiter. Doch was bedeutet das für uns? Ganz klar: mehr und mehr Technik. Deutschlands Ziel sollte es nun, laut Bitkom-Präsident Achim Berg sein, mehr in die Aus- und Weiterbildung unserer Gesellschaft zu investieren. Ebenso sollte eine klare Umstrukturierung in Staat und Verwaltung erkennbar sein. Hier fordert Berg von Grund auf digitalisierte Arbeitsabläufe. 

Es wird deutlich: die Digitalisierung holt uns alle ein und durchzieht sämtliche Generationen. Auch Menschen, die vermutlich kurz vor der Rente stehen, müssen sich in ihrer nur noch kurzen Zeit in der Arbeitswelt mit immer komplexeren Systemen vertraut machen. Digitalisierung bedeutet demnach nicht nur “Chance” für junge Menschen. Sie ist in gewisser Weise auch eine Herausforderung für die ältere Generation.

I was sent this pic and had to laugh at the perfect placement of Earl's (the horse) head and Molly's (the young girl) body. Horse riding is one of her passions, and at the age of 13, she is a very lucky girl to be able to participate in that hobby as well as many others.

I think back to being that age and remember complaining about being bored. I didn't have hobbies like horse riding or an ipad (didn't exist) to make movies on or weekends for ski lessons like little Molly here. Mostly, it was a money thing. Horse lessons are not cheap, nor are many other lessons for activities young people would like to get into. I look at her life, so completely different from my own at that age, and wonder what sort of person she will become with all of the advantages available to her.

This girl is lazy

So whenever i;m home, I often have to wake up at 5 am to take my father to work (-_-). Well today, i didn't immediately go back to sleep. So my youngest sister gets ready for school and at around 7, she asked me to give her a ride to school. Huh. We literally live a 5 min walk away from the school. If you walk to the end of our street, you can see the high school. I laughed and told her to ask her parents, then she got pissed and went upstairs. She eventually got a ride to school but that's not the point of my post. I'm wondering when did my youngest sister become so damn lazy to wear she thinks she's entitled to a ride not even 5 minutes up the street. When i went to high school, I walked everyday sun, snow, wind, or rain. And so does my middle sister, but the youngest one thinks she's some fuckin royalty in here. And the worst part is that she asked me for a ride home from track practice yesterday as well. SMH just pure laziness.
