Sarah is one of the first Getty Images photographers in the Austin area—a relationship that is still going strong. “I also began working as the main photographer for the Austin Business Journal. This is where I discovered my real passion for travel and photography. The world is such an amazingly beautiful place and so are the people that are in it, and I want people to see the world how I see it.” Her passion for discovery is something she shares with her family close to home. They often take the train to get around town. “My kids get to see the city through a different lens than if they were just riding in a car.”

I'm sorry you feel the way you do sometimes, I really do. But I know you will always get through every obstacle life throws at you, no matter how cheesy or cliche it sounds. Just realize that you are loved, even though at times it seems others don't. People go through things, and I hope you understand everyone has different ways of loving. I'm so glad things are turning out for you, and I know the exact pains you are going through, through a different lens.

I… I loves you. It is beautiful to have feelings validated. There are a great deal of bright spots in my life, and I am glad to know I have persons such as yourself to encourage me and help me believe in myself in the dark and scary spots.

I wonder if I know you off of the internet, the ‘different ways of loving’ makes me think I might. I understand it, in my moments of clarity. I understand that the people who love me can’t always say it in three little words. They say it in the gestures they make and the time they spend with me. If I do know you, you should know that I likely appreciate you for exactly who you are to me…
