The way Sigrid expresses affection is very different from the way I do.  She’s very physical; she likes hugs and cuddles.  I’m very different.  I like hugs now and then, but I’m not a big cuddler.  So sometimes it’s difficult to express love her way, not my way, if that makes sense.  

Even with my own younger brother and sister, I rarely cuddle or snuggle them, whereas Sigrid loves cuddling Bain and Tilda.  It takes some thought to figure out how she would express her love for each given person, as opposed to the way I would, and then finding a way to write her expression of love.  

Additionally, because she’s so physical with her love, I always feel like I’m walking a line between people always assuming she’s trying to flirt or something other than just expressing her love (be it familial, platonic, or romantic).

I always imagine Kimbley being hyper-intelligent with knowledge in various subjects. Of course, he doesn’t know everything, but he’s a man of many faces, and I want to be able to express that, and this takes a lot of research. That’s also sometimes why my replies are really slow—because I want to make sure that the information I provide is accurate (though I have no doubt that I’ve been inaccurate at times, and sorry if that has ever happened).

I don’t want to make him too nice. I want to depict him as a cruel, manipulative asshole, but at the same time, I still want him to be an accessible and interesting character. Plus, when you make your character too mean, it can drive people away. So I worry about being able to balance that out decently.
