So I watched Jacksepticeye play A Game About Digging A Hole and felt The Itch
Turns out there's a sequel in Another Game About Digging A Hole and I nabbed both as a bundle for ~8 bucks after taxes.
Since I Already Know The Endgame Is Essentially A Dark Punchline, I decided I was going to fully excavate the playable area.
