The official #Burningman2022 is done, but my journey is not. I've decided to NOT drive Ole Bessie back to Florida this week. Instead, I plan to come back in cooler months and either work on her out here or perhaps drive her to Florida after I get the roof repaired. But for now, I need to get her cleaned out and prepped for what could be a few months and possibly over the winter. The Fish and the #playapianobar are still on Playa, along with a bus combo. I volunteered to help our crew get those off Playa and back to out staging area at Dusty Acres today. We're going to be leaving for that adventure shortly. When it comes to the desert, you can never take anything for granted. Everything takes twice as long, something is guaranteed to to work out the way you planned, deadlines are guessing games, Murphy's Law rules. Anytime I go back to Playa, I know there's a chance of getting stuck out there. But that's part of the fun and the challenge. Assuming we get back safely this eve, tonight and tomorrow I'll finish cleaning out Bessie and packing my bags and then tomorrow night take a red-eye back to Orlando. #burningman #burningman2022 #diggzburn22 (at Reno, Nevada) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiOKRVmvPyy/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
