Hey I’m tired and stressed and tired so have a stupid thing that I wrote a little bit ago based on fanart of Lilia that I can not find the artist for because it was on fucking Pinterest gfdi.
“Papaaaaa,” Silver called from the doorway where Malleus was helping him tie his shoes. “We’re laaaate.”
Lilia skidded across the floor in his socks, nearly falling sideways as he tried to stop. His hands were trying to pull his hair up into a ponytail, his hairband clasped between his teeth. He reached one hand down to grab the tie and start pulling the black and pink strands through it. “No, no, we’re not gonna be late if we run!”
Malleus frowned, staring over at his bag. “But I have Groovy in my bag. He’ll get hurt.”
“You have—Mal, sweetie.” Lilia grabbed the bag up from the floor, opening it and pulling out an unreasonably heavy gargoyle statuette. “We’ve talked about this, right, kiddo? Gargoyles protect the home. That’s why we have to leave Groovy here when we leave, so he can protect it while we’re gone.”
Malleus crossed his arms and pouted. “I wanted to show him to Mr. Leona when he comes to drop off the babies.”
“How about when we see Mr. Leona at the play date, we invite him over so he can see Groovy?” Lilia asked, kneeling down to meet Malleus’s eyes. “Does that sound like a good compromise?”
The seven year old looked up at his ‘father’ and nodded. “Okay…”
“Good.”
Silver looked over at the two. “Papa, late.”
“Right!” Lilia put the statue back where he belonged and grabbed their jackets off the coat rack. “Let’s see…Green. Mal, gimme your arms.” He slid the jacket on the boy, then did the same with Silver. Pulling his own jacket on, Lilia grabbed his keys from the pocket. “Let’s go!”
Silver reached up and tugged on his sleeve. “Papa, you don’t have shoes on.”
Lilia looked down at his feet, then slipped them into his boots.
So I’m working on the snockmate AU of mine (a soulmate au but with socks, it’s technically the sockmate AU but fite me Jahad) and I realized I wrote almost 200 words (not actually a lot but idc) about a concept that I already explained earlier and 50% of it is just me poking fun at myself and the rest is Shibisu saying some very deep stuff.
Anyways: this is what I pictured Shibisu and Bam doing I’m not the best at explaining :
Realized I never posted the “Who takes care of whom” list for DPSG AU. Whoops…
Lilia - Adopted dad of Malleus (9) and Silver(7), regularly babysits Sebek (5, almost 6)
Idia - Legal Guardian of his baby brother Ortho (4)
Riddle, Trey, & Cater - basically raised Ace (5) & Deuce (5) due to parents working so often, the only babysitters who can handle the two of them together
Vil & Rook - Temporary guardians of Epel (5) so he can attend school in a better area
Azul - Very tired (reluctant) adopted parent of chaos Twins Jade (7) and Floyd (7)
Leona & Ruggie - Have no idea how they ended up in charge of Jack (just turned 6) and a newborn Cheka but they’re trying.
Jamil - Being paid way too much to turn down being Kalim’s (6) legal guardian.
Featuring minor AzuRid and the the three best babysitters in town.
Cater glanced up from his phone at the sound of furious footsteps pounding against the pavement, waving at the frazzled trio approaching him. “Lili-chan~! You’re so hashtag-late!”
“Only ten minutes!” He shot back, kneeling down to let Silver down from his back. “Silvy, go play with the twins.”
“Okay…” Silver rubbed his eyes and wandered off towards the jungle gym where the two nearly identical boys were playing.
Malleus looked around. “I don’t see Mr. Leona…”
A tanned hand suddenly landed in his hair, and the boy turned to look at Ruggie, who knelt down to his level. “Looking for the grouchy cat?”
The child nodded.
Ruggie pointed to one of the tall trees, branches thick with leaves. “He’s up in the trees.”
“Thank you, Mr. Ruggie!” Malleus bowed his head before taking off after his second favorite adult.
Ruggie stood, adjusting the infant that was swaddled to his chest. “I will never get why that kid likes Leona so much.”
Lilia chuckled patting the man on the back. “You’re just upset he left you to watch the boys by yourself.”
“I never have to worry about Jack at home, but the moment he’s around the other boys? Chaos!”
Cater chuckled, glancing over at where Ace and Deuce were trying to stand on Jack’s shoulders. “Yeah, Acey is such a bad influence, lol.”
“You did not just say lol out loud.” Idia groused, pulling his hood over his face from his seat beside the redhead. “Talk about cringe.”
“Says the guy who said he had ‘shit RNG luck’ because your meeting got cancelled and you couldn’t ditch us like last time.” Cater countered easily.
“Speaking of getting ditched, where’s Azul and Jamil?” Lilia asked as he looked around the park.
Leona was on one of the lower branches of the tree, helping Malleus climb up to sit with him. Silver had decided that playing with the twins was not in the cards today and was instead making sandcastles with Kalim. Ortho was watching Ace, Deuce and Jack trying to make a pyramid from his wheelchair, and the other two kids that normally joined their play dates were as absent as their guardians, so Lilia didn’t have to worry about them.
Idia sighed, pulling his facemask down to his chin. “They went on a snack run with Riddle and Trey twenty minutes ago. I bet Riddle and Azul are off making out in the bathroom while Trey and Jamil discuss balanced diets and the wonders of bread made from scratch.
Unfortunately for Idia, his hood blocked him from seeing the group of four approaching them all with bags of food. At his words, Azul and Riddle quickly ripped their hands away from each other.
“It would do you well to watch your tongue.” Riddle said coldly, watching Idia jump and turn towards them.
“Ah, Riddle. Hi…” Idia looked like he would rather be dead right now.
Cater blew a kiss and winked at the four. “Hey, hey! I’m guessing the cafe was closed?”
Trey nodded, setting his bags down to start separating the foods and drinks out. “They’re renovating.”
“Daaang, for real? Major bummer, I wanted to try their new sandwiches.”
“Did the boys behave?” Riddle asked, looking over towards the playground and immediately looking freaked out, starting to run over to his ward. “Ace! Ace, you little monster, how many times do I have to tell you not to walk on top of the monkey bars!”
Ace sat down on the bar and stuck his tongue out at his babysitter. “Booo, you never lemme have fun!”
Riddle reached up to the boy and pulled him down, looking directly at him. “Ace, you can play plenty of other ways, but if you do that, you could get really hurt.”
Ace pouted, but didn’t try to wiggle out from his arms. “But Deuce and Jack are racing and Ortho can’t go on any of the play places. I don’t have anyone to play with…”
Riddle sighed, pinching his cheek. “If you don’t do anything dangerous, then I’ll play with you after snack time, okay?”
The five year old instantly brightened, bouncing against Riddle’s chest and smacking it lightly with his hands. “Really? For real, for real?!”
Riddle held a pinkie up to the boy. “Promise.”
Ace linked their fingers and shook their hands. “Pinkie promise. That means you gotta.”
“I will. Now, be a good little boy and go get Deuce and Jack.” He dropped Ace back down on his feet.
Ace saluted and took off towards the other end of the park where the two racers were circling the trees.
Riddle detoured to the sandbox, grabbing Kalim and Silver, and then started pushing Ortho’s wheelchair over to the bench after getting the child’s permission to move him.
Trey and Jamil had poured juices and water into cups, marking each one with the respective child’s name, and set them out beside paper plates of food.
Ortho clapped his hands happily when he saw his plate in Idia’s hands rather than sitting on the bench, pulling off his gloves and face mask before taking them. He held the items high and out of the way while Idia clipped his tray over the bars for him. “Thank you, big bro.”
Idia disinfected the tray and his hands before ruffling his brother’s hair. “Don’t mention it, kiddo.”

Sorry it's been a whole month. It's been a crazy month and I've had this chapter sitting half edited in my drafts for a while. Last night's vigilantes episode inspired me to finish it so I could cope with the tragedy that is Oboro Shirakumo.
