can i just say. i hate the whole "the digital circus made copies of everyone's brains and their real selves are still out in the real world" theory SO MUCH. bc if the characters are all just clones, then it means nothing that happened in the circus mattered. none of the trauma, none of the growth, none of the love-- it was all just pointless. why would i want that? especially when digicircus is a character-driven show?? watching them grow and change is literally the whole point!
#tara says stuff#the amazing digital circus#tadc#digicircus#tadc episode 8#honestly most digicircus theories annoy me#bc its clear that the really popular ones care less about what makes sense for the characters and themes#and more about what would be cool or what makes the most “logical” sense#and that logic is ALWAYS a stretch#the good theories that ive seen are the ones that focus on analyzing and understanding the characters#like transfem jax for example#and there are plenty like that! but the bad ones completely take over and drown out everything else and its just so. uggh
