I already got the feeling from the past 2 episodes that Tomoro's e-Pulse was a metaphor for autism and episode 3 is just proving me right. And I'm living for it!
I don't think this influenced Beatbreak at all, but I think given everything happening in the US right now concerning autism, it's really nice to see a depiction like this!

I'll use this as an excuse to share my RaiTomo thoughts and headcanons since I've mostly just been liking and rbing everyone else's lol. I talk about them a lot in private but posting things publicly often makes me nervous. 😭 But anyway
So I've been saying this on my priv and Discord for awhile now, but RaiTomo just feels like ReiHaru (Appmon) on steroids and idk if anyone else shares this opinion but all the canon/headcanon content I've seen of RaiTomo a lot of the times feels like my ReiHaru headcanons turned up to 11 lmao. There's definitely a lot of differences between the two ships, but they've got the same base of "asshole rival goes sweet for the protagonist who helps him." It honestly explains why RaiTomo hooked me so fast. 💀 (Also doesn't help that Toshiyuki Toyonaga voices both Raito and Rei.)
One of my oldest headcanons for these two is Raito little spoon Tomoro big spoon cuz Tomoro sneaks into Raito's bed at night to cuddle with him. And then Raito wakes up the next morning confused as to why Tomoro is hanging off his back. Very cute I wrote a drabble about it that I haven't posted yet.
Another drabble I wrote is Tomoro falling asleep with his glasses on and Raito taking them off for him so they don't get broken or something. This idea came from me always laying in my bed when I feel a lil tired during the day thinking I won't fall asleep and then I end up falling asleep glasses on and everything. ✌️ They haven't broken yet but knock on wood.
Anyway I have a whole drabble collection that needs to go up on AO3 at some point. I have 9 I've written over the past year might wait til I have an even 10 to post. It's been all Appmon until Beatbreak episode 21 released and I went insane.
Tomoro hugging Raito's arm. That's it that's the thought. Idk I just think it's the cutest way of Tomoro clinging to Raito. Add Tomoro putting his chin on Raito's shoulder and staring at him with a 🥺 face and god I love them.

This one is more Raito rather than RaiTomo but because I'm a Gnosia fan, I sometimes mix up "cold heart" and "cold sleep" for some reason. Like one time while writing a Discord message I said Asuka was "still in cold sleep" without thinking. So anyway Raito somewhat reminds me of Raqio from Gnosia mostly cuz they're both blue asshole geniuses which led to these Discord messages.
Yeah idk.
Oh yeah another Raito thought I just remembered. Why the hell do they pronounce "Souda" like "sooduh" in the English dub? I don't get it the whole point is his name is "sodalite" why aren't they saying it like that?? I can excuse most dub pronunciations but this one is just wrong. Whatever. Go my Righto Sooduh.

Raitomo headcanons? :D
Tomoro and Raito playing Hues & Cues but they use Digimon as hints. Unfortunately, Raito knows more Digimon than Tomoro and uses this to his advantage. Tomoro tries but is usually way off whereas Raito's guesses are near perfect. Alternatively: Raito: Meicoomon. Tomoro: That can't be a real Digimon. Raito: Sure is. Had one as a bounty a few years ago. Tomoro: *sighs and just guesses purple based on nothing* Raito: Next hint, hmm... Pristimon. Tomoro: Oh, you motherf—
When really exhausted, Tomoro falls asleep with his glasses on. Raito always gets nervous they're gonna fall off Tomoro's face somehow and break so he'll gently pull them off his face and set them somewhere safe.
And I'll end with a super self indulgent headcanon that Tomoro is into Vocaloid music and wants to make his own music with it but probably doesn't even have a computer rip. Idk if Raito would be into it but I want to put him in front of Synthesizer V and see how much of a genius his ass really is.
Raitomo but on a date…
They go to a cat cafe (and for that reason they left Monodramon and Gekkomon at home lol). Tomoro gets something insanely sweet cuz Yeah meanwhile Raito probably just gets a coffee. I think it would take a bit for the cats to get used to Tomoro but fsr they're all over Raito. One falls asleep in his lap. Tomoro thinks it's really cute. They hold hands and steal kisses and pet cats til it's time to go. :3
