rASCAN / DiGiScan VidEO DigitiZer
A Video Digitizer is a device that takes a video image from a video camera or video recorder (VCR) and converts it to a string of numbers. These numbers are transferred into a computer then reconstructed back into a video image and displayed on the computer's screen. The quality of the reconstructed image depends on the graphic capabilities of the computer. Once the image is in the computer, it can be processed in many ways.
