So with my tax return money I got myself one of the artist armatures from Digital Double. And goddamn it’s really nice? The joints are a little weird as far as positioning them, but that’s just a matter of getting used to how they move. Also the left thumb tip falls off really easily, but it’s not much of an issue. 

I also did not realize how big it would be. 11 inches tall. I was expecting it to be half this size. I also didn’t expect for the feet to have magnets in them, which are there so that if you get the separate metal stand, it’ll be more stable in poses than if it was just balancing by itself.

They also have armatures for children, horses, centaurs, and add-ons like wings, animal heads, human heads with faces, skulls, horns, tails, misc props... if I had the money and space I’d definitely get more. But their things are pricy.
