Impmon wiped off the dirt from its gloves as it huffed out a breath. The small garden it had started was coming along well. Obscure Onions, Drizzle Cabbage, heck it even managed to get some Baby Strawberries for its garden. Of coarse it's favorite crop to grow were meat plants, with Cubed Meat being its absolute favorite. Oddly shaped, a bizarre acquired taste, and an unpopular type among the various meat plants.
The purple imp's tail was wagging as it got up with the basket of ripe crops. It took them into the small shack of a shelter it built to prepare a meal. Though since the digimon was so small, not even three feet tall from head to toe, the home it built wasn't much bigger. Pretty much just four and with a roof, a bed of leaves and grass, and a fire pit with a few stone bowls and slates for cooking.
Impmon made quick work of getting a fire started to get the food cooking. As it let them sit and cook, the small imp sat munching on some of the strawberries while reading a book it managed to swipe from the nearby town. It was content and enjoying this rare moment of peace. That is until it heard a loud thud outside.
Fur on end, Impmon chanced a peek outside only to be dumbfounded by what it saw.

That voice. That wasn't the same as the one Impmon remembered. The one that would haunt its nightmares from time to time. Not only that, but as the virus looked over the other, another difference stood out. The other's pelt didn't resemble a Gaomon's patterning like the Gazimon it knew in childhood did.
Impmon's stance relaxed the slightest bit, but it was far from calm. Pupils narrowed to slits, it kept its gaze on the unknown Gazimon. “Then what... What are yous doing here then? This place is pretty out of the way from the nearest town.” the nightmare soldier's tone was shaking.

Impmon scanned the area from the high tree it managed to climb. The old town had to be around here somewhere. None of the nearby towns had any useful information on the location either. It was like they were all trying to forget this place and pretend it doesn't exist.
The virus couldn't completely blame them though. It wasn't exactly one to openly discuss the events of its own past. Some things are better left buried. That said, the imp still wanted to scope out the place. This was the ruins of a town, not someone's personal life, the imp saw no harm to at least look over the place while it was in the area.
It had to be somewhere... There! The imp spotted what looked like a few structures poking out of the treeline. That must be it. It's been around a quarter of a century since the town of Vanir saw that hellish nightmare. By now the plants were staring to reclaim and erase the town. But they still had years of work left to do to completely take back the ruins.
Impmon hopped down the branches to get back to solid earth. Now that it knows the direction, it can get to the ruins in no time at all.
French Streamer Jean Pormanove’s Wacky Online Adventures Come to a Sudden Pause
In a story that reads like a cautionary tale from the land of the internet, a French streamer known as Jean Pormanove—real name Raphaël Graven—recently “took an unexpected nap” during a live broadcast. He was 46. Jean had gained fame for participating in all sorts of on-camera tomfoolery and wacky challenges, many of which were designed to make people giggle online. Unfortunately, some of those…
