Today in one of my media classes we went around the class and told a little about each other. I was surprised at how proud people were of how they avoided the news as well as social media. As students who mostly were majoring in digital media this seemed odd. I personally find social networking a positive and beneficial endeavor. Blogging in particular if done correctly can increase your writing abilities as well as help you learn to network and express yourself. Does anyone else have an opinion on this? I realize posting this this on tumblr I have a bias opinion.
