Theory that I came up with, the reason jaxs teeth are "stuck" is because its supposed to represent a strained smile. So it would perfectly go with his whole "masking situation"

Jax tried to kill himself.
I mean its obvious now that Jax is messed up in the head and has SEVERE attachment issues. He distances himself from everyone so they don't get too close, he misses his friends dearly yet pushes away any thought of them when hes around the others, and he lashed out at Caine when he learned he was right and it was all an adventure. He lashed out because someone got to him. Someone got in his head. And it was Caine of all people.
He almost killed himself/abstracted (maybe?) When he left to his room, and seemed actually happy about it.
And then the flashbacks. I think Jax in the real world ran off from home and either ran over a someone or lost control of the car and swerved into the facility.
AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON HIS ROOM.
I FRICKING KNEW HE WAS HIDING SOMETHING SENTIMENTAL. I KNEW HE HAD PICTURES OF HIM, RABBIT AND KAUFMO. I FRICKING KNEW IT OH MY GOD
This episode broke me in so many ways. I love my depressed 20 something year old men with severe depression and mental illnesses yes give me more plz and thx anyways im gonna go commit violent crimes have a wonder evening

I keep seeing everyone talk about how Jax actually started cared for Pomni because he didnt fight back for the first time, but no one's talking about how this has happened before. Iirc, Pomni wasn't hurt at all by Jax during the entire series. Even in the Japan exclusive commercial for the show, everything Jax does to Pomni isn't to hurt her.
So this man might've cared for Pomni since the beginning, and we never realized until now.
