my alex the great post currently has 67 notes, which is lots by my standards, and that makes me happier than u'll ever know. thats 67ish ppl in this world who are also amused by "mediocre sitcom reference + ancient history." hail satan. for the record, its not even really a joke, b/c if alex was alive today he'd probs be an awful bieber/miley-esque child star growing into his rebellious phase, and he would say something like that without an iota of irony.

dude, when i skip my morning class, my day just becomes so civilized

9:30 - noonish: wake up, chill on the internet, do some readings, listen to that apples in stereo powerpuff girls song like 70 times, eat something

noonish - 4: mozy on over to campus, buy some 99cent coffee, read more

4-5:30: science and the enlightenment, with a prof that i really like

5:30 - 6: drop in on culture section meeting for student paper i used to work at, make current editor slightly intimidated (which is hilarious, because she's twice as competant as i ever was)

6 - 8/9: meeting for a thing. will probs be boring, but there are people i like + free sandwiches so its cool

9ish: head home on public transport thats not even crazy crowded

i mean, by my standards this is relaxing as shit

heeey it looks like i've gotten a few new followers in the past week, so i wanted to say howdy. obligatory greeting goat.

ANYWAY the basics:

i grew up in the states (long island/austin)

currently studying history + communications at a university in montreal

i very much do the social justice, especially feminism

the feminism we're talking about here absolutely focuses on queer and trans ladies/femme-y folk in general, as well as doing my part against white supremacy in general/learning to be the least shitty white lady i can be in particular. its an ongoing process, and i fuck up/get self-aggrandizing, but i do my best to keep an eye on that.

i get a shitload of comments/compliments on my hair, which i guess is sort of inevitavle b/c its a weird color and theres just so damn MUCH of it, but what you people dont realize is how much i SHED. SHIT i shed like, probably the equivalent of a persian cat every month or so??? by which i do not mean "as much as a persian cat." i mean "enough hair to create a persian cat"
