Mannat
"So what are you wishing for?" "It's bad luck to tell."
This is concept of tying the 'mannat ka dhaga' (thread of wishes). They say, that after the wish is granted, the dhaga needs to be untied in order to thank the almighty and make place for another person's wish.

Humayun Tomb
10 interesting facts about the Humayun Tomb:
The tomb was created in honor of Mughal Emperor Humayun, in 1569-1570 A.D. by Persian Architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyas.
Unlike the Taj Mahal in Agra, this tomb was commissioned by the wife of Humayun, Bega Begum.
The construction of the tomb began 9 years after his death in 1565 A.D. and was completed at a cost of 1.5 million rupees at that time.
The complex also houses the graves of Bega Begum herself. Hamida Begum and also Dara Shikoh, great great grandson of Humayun and son of later Emperor Shah Jahan,
The tomb reaches a height of 47m, 300ft. and width of 91m.
The tomb uses the concept of 8-sided chambers symbolizing Paradise as in Islamic Cosmology.
The tomb was the first to bring the Charbagh Gardens, the typical style of Persian Gardens to India, that later became an integral part of Mughal Architecture.
During the Partition of India, Humayun's Tomb became a major camp to many Muslim refugees migrating from the newly-founded Pakistan which stayed on for 5 years and was managed by the government of India.
It was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1993.
