unlike sib, she was born and raised in the dimensional city (still gotta come up with a better name for it) and hasn't lived anywhere else.
she works as a reality programmer; in the dimensional city, all of reality (and how realities from different dimensions interact) is managed by what is essentially computer code.
when people from other worlds come to the dimensional city, dependencies in their code will start to have null pointer errors, since the world is gone. this will fairly quickly cause cascading issues in the entire executable of something alive like a person, and it's a fairly painful way to die.
lexia's worked with the reality code extensively enough that she can spot patterns in decomp'd reality and reroute pointers to more stable reality addresses. it's how she saved sib!
