Top 5 Dimentio x Luigi headcanons, I'm extremely interested

Ah jeez. This is difficult. These are in no particular order.

5) Dimentio and Mr. L used to be close friends during the whole mess with the Void. During a time of terrifying confusion, Dimentio was Luigi’s “rock”, so to speak; a source of support, encouragement, and comfort. Luigi’s memory of the time when he was Mr. L is only suppressed.

4) Dimentio is his usual jerk of himself to everyone else, but he’s very sweet to Luigi and tries not to belittle him. There’s teasing sure, but only the lighthearted kind. He also enjoys making lewd comments in public in order to make Luigi blush because he thinks its cute. 

3) Their relationship isn’t based on lust, but rather on a deep emotional connection developed from above mentioned friendship. Luigi is literally the only person in the whole universe that Dimentio trusts completely. 

2) Dimentio is an excellent listener/communicator when it comes to someone he cares about. If something he does bothers or even hurts Luigi, he’ll do his best to fix that behavior or apologize. 

1) Both of them often feel like they’re not good enough for each, which ends in a lot of tears and comfort hugs. Also, both of them like having their hair stroked and they often use each other as a pillow. 

Bonus Quirk - Dimentio is a sleep cuddler and will unconsciously end up using anyone in his vicinity as a teddy bear, even if it’s someone he hates.

Most of these things have found their way into my stupidly long fanfic about them x-x It’s funny that I’m trying to make it work in a good way when I also enjoy it being one-sided.
