Dimoo Midnight Circus: Clown Candy and Aerialist Flower
I got em right after Xmas. I had to because they are cutesy and circus-y and weird. I gotta quit browsing ebay. I keep finding cute Asian stuff on there.
I couldn’t decide which one of the Circus or Xmas Dimoo blind box figures to get and ultimately defaulted back to these two. I tried to find a little more info on the characters.
I saw more about Candy on Dimooworld’s instagram, not much about Flower, just some other versions of it. This was initially the figure that caught my attention.
I also saw some cute illustrations of the characters and other versions of them on IG that I wish I could get my grubby little hands on.
I wasn’t sure what exactly was going on with Candy when I first saw it. She is a fox and her tail is called Mr. Worm and the other creature, Jelly, is usually a separate piece that can be placed on top of Mr. Worm’s head (or anywhere really), but for this collection the characters are sculpted differently.
Aw, it looks so sweet and playful, almost makes you forget about how weird this tail situation is when you think about it.
The heads turn and the tails are separate molds that stick into the back. Not much to the figures in that respect. They’re interesting to look at though.
I like’em. I’ll take them to work eventually. Guess I’ll have to swap the skating rink for some circus props.
