Kind of a silly question but in the original story the magical lake was created from the tears of Odette's mother so I was wondering if that's also the case here? (Its ok if not I just found that part of the story really cool and was just curious:D)

not silly at all!! I also found that detail to be kinda cool, though I chose not to include it in my version-- mostly because since 'Odette' in this case is the mc, their story is too different from the original and having the lake made of their mother's tears wouldn't make sense! thanks for the ask, have a nice day/night 😊💞
