POSITIVE HOUR: I had my check up with my hematologist and I remain CANCER FREE! My battle with leukemia changed my life and guided me to my passion in life (caring for cancer patients) but it was a terrible battle and I always hold my breath a little with each check up. Now I feel like I can breathe again! ☺️💖

awww thank you!!! i’d like to say this is all my dad. my parents are divorced and my mom and stepdad are AMAZING!!! they just aren’t financially equipped to fairly and equally provide college aide for four kids. they fully support and celebrate my sexuality and are awesome. my dad is the opposite and i’m tired of it ya know? ily so much; here for you if you ever need to talk!!!!

Positive Hour: Okay so this might seem silly but on Friday, the associate dean told me I was the best dressed faculty member they’ve ever had and, after my leukemia therapy, I have hardcore struggled with my body image and so my appearance means more to me than it should so to me, THAT WAS A HUGE COMPLIMENT 🥺💖
that’s so sweet!! it’s crazy how simple compliments can go that far (although honestly that’s such a cool compliment/?!?! like!! wow!!) i love it and you <3 your body is beautiful and clearly you have great fashion as well!

They thought I might have gasped from the “unlucky” number but I assured them my Swiftie soul was quite pleased with my new office number ☺️ Side note: soon the plaque on the outside will have my name and my fancy CLINICAL DIRECTOR TITLE 😳💖
