Bedroom 2 - The Office

So, we honestly have no real need for three bedrooms except I like it more than two. The second bedroom has been dubbed my office. Definitely need a fresh space for doing homework, crafting, etc.

This room is super tiny and perfectly square, so very easy to paint.

I chose the color Dinner Mint by Behr, which is a lovely mint (obviously). I also painted all the trim in this room Pure Ultra White for that bright, clean look.

I picked this color because it's light and brightens the room up. Um, plus I love mint, and it's soooooo "in" this year.

There are tons of odd things in this little house and one of them is that someone removed the original closet handles and just drilled them in the center. It's weird. I moved the handles to the correct place, filled the old holes with nail filler and then painted the doors bright white, too. The ceiling fan in this room was already all white, so all we did was add another of those five dollar fixtures over the light bulb. We still have shades to hang and furniture to start painting/searching for... but so far I'm really happy with the color and how clean the room looks.

I'm attaching a picture, but it's hard to really appreciate the amazing color from this photo.

The final touches will be shades, new outlet covers and my better half has taken on the chore of painting ceilings. Have fun with that. (Stay tuned for DIY lessons we learned while doing these projects. I'm thinking I will do a lot of white furniture in here, but also deciding what other colors might add some lovely to this room... maybe a nice coral?
